Buds are buff-apricot, pointed and tightly rolled. Its flowers, which are borne in clusters, are 40mm across, beautifully shaped, creamy buff-yellow with hints of pink, with a soft perfume. Foliage is dark green with twiggy, almost thornless stems. Flowers continuously throughout summer to autumn.
